Colleen Reilly Moss is a neonatal nurse practitioner at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and a Level II NICU in Franklin, TN. She has worked as an NNP since 2003, beginning her career at Children's Hospital Colorado before returning to Vanderbilt in 2007.

Colleen Moss began her career as an NNP in 2003 at Children's Hospital Colorado before returning to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in 2007. She provides neonatal care at the Level IV NICU at Vanderbilt as well as a Level II NICU in Franklin, TN. In 2020 she transitioned to full-time faculty position, teaching in both the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs.

Colleen earned a BS in Child Development in 2000 from Vanderbilt University and MSN with a specialty in neonatal care in 2001 from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. In 2019, she earned her DNP at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Her DNP translational project focused on the positive impact of mentoring on job satisfaction and retention for novice and experienced neonatal nurse practitioners. FANNP presented Colleen with a research grant in 2019 for ongoing work related to her mentoring program.

Colleen maintains active membership in the Florida Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Academy of Neonatal Nurses, National Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, and Tennessee Nurses Association. She is Secretary of the Florida Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners. She is a mentor instructor for the American Academy of Pediatrics' Neonatal Resuscitation Program. She is also a member of the Advisory Board for the American Academy of Pediatric's Neonatal Verification Survey program.
