Neil Carpenter is a seasoned healthcare strategy and value-based care consultant, advising clients from health systems, payors, and public health agencies. He also serves on advisory boards for multiple start-ups in areas such as Community Health Workers, Remote Diagnostics, Generative AI, Talent Transformation, Behavioral Health, and specialty value-based care. In his recent role as Chief Strategy Officer for Nanthealth, Neil drove the creation of an oncology value-based care program for payors, partnering with Jasper and working alongside industry luminaries like David Shulkin, Pat Conway, Pat Basu, and Atul Dhir.

Throughout his career, Neil has been a system leader and senior advisor to health system leaders and boards. As the Chief Strategy Officer at LifeBridge Health, he led market strategies, the clinically integrated physician network with top ACO savings, and launched groundbreaking initiatives like the first offshore command center, a bioincubator within a community hospital, and new patient engagement technologies targeting socio-economically disadvantaged populations. Neil's decade-long tenure at leading consulting firms further established his expertise, with his thought leadership on COVID-19’s impact on healthcare being cited by major publications like the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and BBC.

Neil's diverse experience includes roles at GE and American Express focusing on global reengineering, financial analysis, and process improvement. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's in Business from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Neil has served on state task forces for Health System planning, taught at Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business, and published papers on technology transformation in journals such as Digital Biomarkers and AMA Journal of Ethics.
